Solar Music Festival in Saranda

Are you ready to dance the night away where the sun kisses the Ionian Sea?
Introducing Solar Music Festival, a three-day summer event, bringing a world-class lineup of DJs, artists, and live acts to the heart of the Albanian Riviera. Saranda transforms into a sun-soaked music haven, complete with daytime beach sets, legendary boat parties, and after-dark energy that lasts till sunrise.

Durrës Waves and Folklore Festival

August 24–30, 2025 – Durrës
The city of Durrës comes alive in the final week of August with two overlapping cultural festivals:
Folklore Festival (Aug 26–30): Open-air performances in squares and streets, representing Albania’s traditional music, costumes, and community spirit.
Durres Waves (Aug 24–28): A five-day international music and dance event featuring folk ensembles, brass bands, choirs, and majorette teams from across Europe.
DUA Fest in Shkodër

August 8–9, 2025 – Rozafa Castle, Shkodër
Set in one of Albania’s most legendary landmarks, Rozafa Castle, DUA Fest turns Shkodër into a cultural powerhouse for two nights.
With an eclectic lineup of artists, modern stage setups, and the castle’s epic views, this festival offers a one-of-a-kind open-air music experience.
DansMusik Fest in Vlora

August 18-23
After drawing over 25,000 fans last year, DansMusik Fest is turning Vlora’s Lungomare into a nonstop dance floor by the sea. Expect international DJs, huge crowds, and lights that light up the waterfront, this year’s edition promises to be even bigger, louder, and more unforgettable.
Lin Festival

August 14-16
On the shores of Lake Ohrid, the village of Lin hosts a festival to celebrate its archaeological, historical, and cultural legacy. The festival is connected to identity and storytelling, with exhibitions, performances, and traditional food that aim to elevate Lin as a world-recognized cultural destination.
Sunwave in Vlora
August 2–3, 2025 – Vlora, Albania
Vlora’s summer lineup kicks off strong with Sunwave, a two-day festival set right along the scenic Lungomare, in the courtyard of the local Maritime School. But this isn’t just about music. Sunwave brings together land, air, and water sports by day, and concerts plus groovy after-parties by night.
National Theatre of Opera and Ballet
This August, the National Ensemble of Folk Songs and Dances is taking Albania’s cultural heartbeat on the road. Through a tour across cities and towns, they’ll perform the most cherished pieces of Albanian heritage songs that carry generational memory and dances that feel rooted deep in our land.
