Where To Stay In the Albanian Riviera

Here are my favourite spots to stay at in the Albanian Rivera:

Saranda

Saranda Albania

Saranda is a popular summer destination in Albania that tourists and expats love. It has it all: beautiful beaches, nightlife options, great food. But it also gets super crowded during the peak season, so if you’re planning on visiting it next year, make sure to book in advance.

  • Recommended Hotels: Hotel Briliant (51 euro to 62 euro) and Bougainville Bay Hotel (72 euro to 88 euro).

Ksamil

Ksamil has gained a lot of popularity in recent years and is even considered “The Maldives of Albania”. It’s mostly popular due to its beautiful beaches with sparkling waters, that attract lots of visitors. Depending on the area you go to, you might enjoy your beach day at more laid-back, family-friendly beaches or more popular tourist spots.

  • Recommended Hotels: Villa Festim (from 18 euros) and Sunlight Hotel (from 61 euros)

Dhërmi

If a day at the bar is your kind of fun, then Dhërmi has PLENTY to surprise you with. The stunning landscapes surrounding Dhërmi are just PERFECT for exploration and hiking with your family and friends. Retire for the night in the following accommodations.

  • Recommended Hotels: Black Diamond Hotel (77 euros to 78 euros) and Drymades Inn (148 euros to 228 euros)

Jalë Beach

Next up, Jalë Beach is more for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. A hidden gem that should be a lot more popular because of its peaceful environment and beauty. It’s perfect for those who want to escape the crowd and relax in a nurturing environment.

Here are the best places to stay at in Jalë Beach:

  • Recommended Stays: Social Camping Jale
