Visit an Art Gallery

If you and your partner enjoy art, spending some time at a gallery can be a great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Tirana has several galleries where you can see different styles of art, from traditional paintings to modern installations. You could visit the ZETA Center for Contemporary Art, known for its modern exhibitions. Gallery 70 is another good option (but it’s very small), while Bazament Art Space focuses on experimental and digital art.

For something more intimate and fitting for Valentine’s Day, you can check out the exhibition “Letra Dashurie – Dorëshkrime origjinale Dritëro dhe Sadije” at Shtëpia Studio Agolli. This special exhibit displays original love letters exchanged between Albanian writer Dritëro Agolli and his wife Sadije, offering a touching look into their personal story. However, since the letters are in Albanian, you’d need a native friend with you, to help with the translation!

Enjoy a Night of Jazz Music

If you enjoy jazz, Valentine’s Day is a great excuse to dance to live music in a cosy setting. Le Bazal is hosting a special jazz night, perfect for couples who love smooth tunes and a relaxed atmosphere. Another great spot is N’Tingull, a small, intimate jazz bar open Monday to Saturday, where you can enjoy live performances in a warm and welcoming space.

Bake and Decorate Cupcakes Together

If you’re looking for a fun and hands-on way to spend Valentine’s Day, why not try a cupcake decorating experience in Tirana? This activity lets you and your partner bake and decorate your own cupcakes, adding a creative and delicious twist to your date. You’ll learn how to make fluffy cupcakes from scratch, choose your favourite flavours, and get creative with frosting and toppings.

Build Your Own Cupcake Experience

Enjoy a Romantic Dinner

It might feel a bit cliché, but having dinner with your partner is always a great way to celebrate. Many restaurants in Tirana offer special Valentine’s Day menus, sometimes with live music. If you want something extra special, you could book a table at a place with a nice view, like Arka Rooftop, where you can see the city lights while you eat. Just make sure to reserve in advance since places fill up quickly!

Go to the Movies

If you’re feeling more casual and just want to relax, going to the movies is always a good idea. Grab some popcorn, pick a film you both like and enjoy a laid-back date. It’s an easy, no-fuss way to spend time together, especially if you’re not into big plans or fancy dinners. Cinemas you can check out in Tirana are Cineplexx (in TEG or QTU) and Millenium.

Make Your Own Dubai-Inspired Chocolate

If you and your partner have a sweet tooth, this chocolate-making workshop at Toptani Shopping Center is a fun thing to consider. On February 14th at 6:00 PM, you can take part in an interactive experience where you’ll get to prepare the famous Dubai-style chocolate. It’s a great chance to learn something new, get creative with flavours, and, of course, enjoy some delicious chocolate together.

The event takes place on Level -1 of Toptani Shopping Center in Tirana.
