Located in one of Tirana’s popular creative spaces, Hana’s events are ideal for art and culture lovers. Here’s what’s happening: Hana’s creative space is buzzing this month with poetry readings, ceramic workshops, and even a Santa-themed clay workshop to get you into the festive mood.

Semafori Studio Shop

Semafori also will host some cool artistic workshops, including self-portrait painting, foam sculptures, and even a karaoke night with Albanian rock classics.

In late November, Tirana commemorates Albania’s most significant historical milestones: Independence Day and Liberation Day. To celebrate, the city hosts a variety of events, from cultural performances and exhibitions to military parades and official ceremonies.

Streets are decorated with Albanian flags, and Skanderbeg Square becomes a gathering spot for celebrations. Don’t miss the special concerts and fireworks displays, which bring an air of pride and joy to the capital during these days.

Tirana Winter Festival & Christmas Markets

Tirana transforms into a festive wonderland during the winter season with the Tirana Winter Festival and Christmas Markets. The city’s famous Skanderbeg Square is decorated with twinkling lights, a massive Christmas tree, and stalls selling everything from handmade gifts to traditional Albanian treats.

You can enjoy funfair rides, live performances, and festive parades, and also try some delicious local treats. Nearby areas such as Blloku and Pazari i Ri also get very festive, with boutique markets and cosy cafes to visit.

Alternatively, you can always explore the city with a local guide.

Winter Concerts at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet
