Cultural Weeks in Albania

International Cultural Weeks is a platform of the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation brought to Albania through unique events from different world cultures, to create a more inspiring future that unites us in diversity. 

Each month, different events are held to represent various countries (for example, in October, cultural weeks will be dedicated to Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, Kazakhstan, and Austria), giving you the chance to experience the world of culinary, art, and fun activities, without having to leave Albania.

Osun’s Table: A Sensuous Dinner for Women in Tirana – 3 October

Osun’s table is a unique Friday night gathering for women who desire to savor, connect, and honor their feminine essence. This event takes place at The Crown Rooftop & Dining on 3 October at 7:00 PM. You can find more details on this event hier.

Plug and Play Tirana Expo – October 16-17

Plug and Play Tirana Expo brings together leaders, founders, investors, and other important figures to share insights, celebrate achievements, and set the course for the future of innovation in the Balkans.

Tirana Marathon – 19 October

It’s almost time for one of the biggest sports events in Tirana, the Tirana-Marathon, which gathers hundreds of runners from all around the world every year. This year, it comes with its ninth edition, and it will take place on 19th October.

Tirana’s Underground Scene

If you’re into nightlife and live music, Tirana won’t disappoint this October. Underground Agimi is hosting several themed nights like Vinyl Night (Oct 1), Capsule K b2b Caealum (Oct 2), On.Play (Oct 3), and MechaSoul (Oct 4) for all those who love raw and energetic music.

DJ Juliet Fox – 17 October

Folie Electronic is bringing international DJ Juliet Fox to the Tirana Olympic Park on Oct 17. These events add plenty of rhythm to the month, whether you’re after underground beats or big-stage performances.

Tirana Food and Fest

From 10–12 October, Tirana hosts Albania’s biggest agricultural and livestock fairs: Tirana Food & Fest 2025. Organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event brings together farmers, producers, and food lovers from across the country to celebrate local products, fresh ingredients, and traditional flavours.

International Dance Festival in Tirana – 4th Edition

From 9–25 October, Tirana turns into a stage for contemporary dance as the International Dance Festival (IDFT) returns for its fourth edition under the artistic direction of Angelin Preljocaj. Spread across 11 theatres and cultural spaces in the city, the festival features 15 premieres and 9 free public events, showcasing both world-renowned dancers and emerging choreographers.
