As someone who loves exploring new things (and at the same time hates falling into the monotony trap), I’m here to show you some super fun things to do in Tirana, especially if you’re visiting soon.
These suggestions don’t include museums, restaurant recommendations, or the other “common” tourist attractions (you may find them on our website), but they do feature some interesting activities you can do in the city that not everyone knows about.
Let’s go!

Si vous souhaitez faire l'expérience de Culture albanaise in a real and interactive way, this one’s for you. Albanian Night is a cultural show in Tirana where you can dress in traditional attire, take part in old wedding customs, dance, and learn about the country’s roots in a fun and engaging way.
The show includes live music, traditional dances from different parts of Albania, and a powerful performance of iso-polyphonic singing. You can also visit their Albanian Bazaar, where you’ll find thousands of handmade items created by local artisans.
It’s a great way to support the local economy and learn the story behind each piece.
Localisation: Près de la place Skanderbeg
Heure d'ouverture: Tous les jours à 19h00
Le bazar est ouvertHORAIRES D'OUVERTURE : 9H00 - 22H00
Dîner facultatif (mais fortement recommandé !)

Salle d'évasion de Tirana is just as fun as it sounds: a place where several rooms are designed for adventurers to solve mysteries, with themes like Secret Agent, Art Gallery, and Zombie Outbreak, as well as interactive games like The Floor is Lava.
The Floor is Lava was an interesting adaptation to the original game, and one that’ll get you moving! Such an adrenaline boost.

Also, I’ve visited their first escape room once, so this time I’ll share my experience in the Secret Agent room.
Without giving away anything, the idea of the game is: you are a group of secret agents sent to Albania for a special mission, which is to find the G452-1 file. This file is located in General K. J. Bunker’s office. However, to get there is not as simple as it might seem at first. You need to go through 2 other rooms filled with missions and secrets to get to the final room and find the file.
In order to make the most out of this experience, I suggest going there with a group of friends. I did the same and we had a lot of fun, even though we failed the mission…Sometimes, it’s all about the experiences, right ^.^
3. Murder Mystery Night

This is one of my favourite things to do in Tirana! If you also love solving mystery cases and taking guesses while watching mystery/thriller movies, this will probably be your favourite, too.
This event is held in a lovely, old, vintage-like villa in the centre of Tirana, near the New Bazaar. It features different themes, such as “Italian Mafia”, “Murder in Broadway”, “Masquerade Ball”, etc., each with its unique plot, dress code, and characters.
Expect a light dinner surrounded by a put-together setup, lit by candles, and surrounded by a great atmosphere. Don’t be surprised if you forget to eat anything, though! There’s a good chance you’ll be too distracted trying to figure the mystery out.
At the end, small prizes are handed to the best detective, best actor, and best-dressed character.
P.S. Contact them if you’re a group of foreigners who want to attend this type of event.
4. Cafés où l'on peut jouer
If simply going out for a coffee in Tirana seems too boring for you, then it’s time to do something different!
While Tirana is full of lovely spots that make time out very enjoyable, sometimes, just sitting in a café and talking doesn’t feel enough.
There are a few coffee shops here where you can play table games like Monopoly, cards, Jenga, puzzles, etc.
For example, at Hana Corner Café, which is a must when in Tirana, apart from enjoying the tasty desserts and the cute ambiance, you can also play card games with your friends or partner.

La Chateau is a coffee shop bistro, and board game center where you can play many different games, like Monopoly, chess, Jenga, UNO, puzzles & more, for a fun and unique time in Tirana.
There is a small fee associated with each game you play.

5. Join Fun Events and Workshops
Hosting events has recently become a popular trend in Tirana. They include, for example, painting on canvas, making bracelets, poetry/book clubs, yoga, pottery, and so on. Now, if you’re a foreigner who doesn’t know Albanian, I wouldn’t suggest joining a livre sauf si vous voulez vous faire de nouveaux amis et/ou apprendre la langue.
- artyhost
- myhiphap
- tiranapotterystudio
- céramique.monarchie
- almanart
Note : Certaines de ces activités sont payantes.
6. Air libre Tirana (Only During Summer)

Que pensez-vous du cinéma en pleine nature ?
Picture this: summer nights, comedy movies, snacks, and… an open sky. It is truly a fun activity to consider during summer (I wish it were available all year round, though.)

Suggestion utile : For this activity, you can find affordable tools like canvas, paint brushes, etc., at one of the Euro1 shops located in Tirana.
P.S. Tregu (en albanais) signifie "marché".
9. Zone de paintball

This is a super fun activity you can do with a group of friends or colleagues.
The types and objectives of the game vary but include capturing the flag, defending or attacking a specific point or zone, or finding valuable objects hidden in the game area. Paintball can be played by anyone, male, female, or even children, under specific guidelines and accompanied by adults.
10. Réserver un cours de spinning
Grab your lazy friends and make that plan get out of the WhatsApp group. Sunride brings a whole new level of energy to fitness with its high-intensity spin sessions, immersive lighting, and killer playlists that turn every ride into a full-body experience.
11. Alphazone Tirana
If you’re a gamer, this is your dream spot. At Alpha Zone, you’ll find interactive virtual reality (VR) games to enjoy, earn points, and compete with players. You can play as a team of 2-5 players and move through various positions by choosing the games you want to play and the level of difficulty.
The place is structured into rooms, and you can choose your type of service for the room such as VR, Netflix, and YouTube, PS5, etc.
12. Art Café

Last Saturday, I went to Muzat Art Café for the first time, and I loved it. The place is relatively small, but the concept is very interesting: a cafe where you can do art-related activities, or join one of the workshops they organise.
My friend and I were given a canvas and we had a lot of fun unleashing our creativity, while having a coffee. Therapeutic and relaxing at the same time. Will definitely go again.
