One thing about me is that I love desserts, and I’m always on the lookout for new dessert spots in Tirana. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But I also have a list of favourite dessert brands that are my go-to whenever I’m craving something familiar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’re a foodie, like me, I trust you’re gonna love these spots too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are some of my go-to dessert spots in Tirana that don’t disappoint. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

D'Angelo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If I could only have one dessert from all the places in Tirana, I’d choose D'Angelo<\/a> (yes, I mean it). It’s my all-time favourite, and I just have to put it at the top of my list, to be fair.<\/p>\n\n\n

They’re famous for their authentic Belgian chocolate that tastes just as good as it sounds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve tried many desserts from their menu (their drinks are great too), but my go-to order is their waffles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actually, at D’Angelo they make the best waffles I’ve tried so far in Tirana, there’s no other spot that beats it in my opinion. (Now I’ll have to try waffles in Belgium to see if there’s a competitor out there…)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mon Amour<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Mon Amour<\/a>, with five locations in Tirana, is a popular classic French pastry shop and one of my all-time favourites. Their signature cakes feature a variety of flavours, including red velvet, nocciola, pistachio, and they also offer personalized cake decorations for all kinds of events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pastries are amazing too, which makes it even more difficult to choose just one…(I personally love their profiteroles and sfoliates.) And I also love their pralines; they make the perfect elegant gift, especially with the beautiful boxes they come in. <\/p>\n\n\n

Belle Epoque <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Belle Epoque<\/a> is a high-end patisserie that brings a taste of authentic French pastry right to your table. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their desserts are carefully crafted to be both delicious and visually appealing, and they’re on the pricier side compared to some other brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s an elegant and pleasant spot to consider having a coffee and dessert, especially if you’re looking for something a bit more refined.<\/p>\n\n\n

Le Bon<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With several locations in Tirana, Le Bon<\/a> is a well-known shop that serves as a bakery, pastry shop, self-service, ice cream, and coffee bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to desserts, here you’ll find a variety of interesting cakes and pastries that aren’t just tasty, but also aesthetically pleasing to look at. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One dessert I’ll always get is Pastashu with pistachio. Give it a try if you love pistachio \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n

Chimney Cake Shop<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Chimney cakes are finally here! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve tried chimney cakes in Bra\u0219ov, Romania, and in Budapest, Hungary, but there wasn’t a dedicated spot for chimney cakes in Tirana, until recently. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only alternatives you could\/can find are at Ice Cream Mango<\/a>, where they serve chimney cakes filled with ice cream; a fun option if you want something different from the classic ice cream cone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jetzt, Chimsy <\/a>is the dream for sweet lovers. You\u2019ll find a variety of flavours to choose from, perfect if you want to try the classic chimney cake or experiment with different fillings and toppings.<\/p>\n\n\n

Cioccolati Italiani<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is another suggestion, especially if you have a soft spot for Italian food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unter Cioccolati Italiani<\/a>, they’re famous for their high-quality chocolate flavours, and their authentic gelato (must try; you won’t regret it). Writing this actually made me realise it\u2019s been forever since I last had their gelato, so clearly it\u2019s time to change that.<\/p>\n\n\n

Their menu also features a variety of interesting drinks, including the famous Italian affogato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, Cioccolati Italiani is on the higher end, and prices aren’t exactly budget-friendly, but the taste makes it worth it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pastelitos Caf\u00e9<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pastelitos Caf\u00e9<\/a> is a recent pastry shop in Tirana that also offers artisanal bread and speciality coffee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So far, I\u2019ve only tried one thing: their signature hot cocoa that went viral on social media (yes, I\u2019m easily influenced…). It\u2019s topped with a rim of what seemed like toasted meringue, which balanced the taste of the cocoa.<\/p>\n\n\n

That said, I personally would have loved it even more if it were a bit thicker, more chocolatey, and slightly sweeter. Still, I think it’s worth trying, especially during winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Best Dessert Spot in Tirana Prize Goes to…<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To be honest, it comes down to personal preferences. As I mentioned in this blog, D’Angelo is my personal favourite, but it also depends on what you’re craving. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
